We include access to our cloud-based software platform as part of the fulfilment service, enabling you to check stock availability, create new orders or run business reports from any device, at any time.
If you’re selling across marketplaces and eCommerce platforms, orders seamlessly flow into the system with stock availability controlling the fulfilment process, customer communication and item listings.
Stock reservation & allocation
When a new order is collected from your sales channels, stock is reserved and becomes accessible for immediate picking. At this point, your available stock is deducted and intelligently ‘allocated’ to a bin location in the warehouse, directing operatives to start the fulfilment process.
Orders placed before our sameday dispatch cut off point are speedily processed, usually within one hour of the customer placing their order.
Every item, location and trolley in our warehouse is identifiable by a unique barcode and all fulfilment tasks are controlled with handheld scanners.
Warehouse operatives are directed to a start location for picking and begin by scanning the location before confirming the correct item. If the scan fails an order can go no further in the process, ensuring almost total accuracy. The route ends at our marshalling area where orders are passed to the packing team in preparation for dispatch.
Prepared with care
At the packing bay orders are initially scanned and the operative is then asked to confirm that the products correspond with those on the order. Again, if a scan fails, the order is immediately held, pending a supervisor check.
The system also requests confirmation of packaging used (e.g. mailer bags or boxes) and the number of items to be shipped, before intelligently routing each consignment through our lowest-cost carrier service.
With access to untracked, economy, premium, bulk and international services provided by trusted carriers, we provide a wide range of delivery options at very competitive price points.
Our systems are fully integrated with carriers, which means that shipping labels and manifests are automatically generated and every order can be tracked to the point of delivery.
We stock a wide range of packaging materials to ensure your goods are delivered to customers in perfect condition. For lightweight consignments, mailer or padded bags are recommended whilst more fragile or heavier items are packed in the best-fit box with void fill and seal to ensure minimal movement in transit. As part of our project, biodegradable alternatives are offered at increasingly competitive prices.
